The Very first “Blootootanay” Issue

Tina and I have been friends since our working days in Ayala Theatres Management, Inc. (ATMI). We were instant friends, and the more time we spent with each other I knew she was my long-lost sister. Not only are we half ilonggas, we also have the passion for food and for good conversations and most especially movies. Our birthdates fall in the same month (although I was born a year ahead of her) and my list can go on and on.

We couldn’t spend our birthday’s together since I was in Boracay for mine and she spent hers with her family. We decided to have dinner just last week and we had seafood in Penang and dessert in Cibo. LOVE THE TIRAMISSU! And where was I when everyone else was eating this?! It was my first time to eat the Tiramissu in Cibo. I LOVE it! It’s not your usual Tiramissu with a creamy type of filling and a strong coffee flavor. This Tiramissu has a suprpise of the creamy icing and once you’ve had a bite you realize the body of the cake is sort of like sansrival! BUT the Tiramissu flavor just kicks in as you savor one bite from another.

It’s cool how my relationship with this galpal of mine has eveolved from the office to more of a sisterhood. We hardly see each other (especially when she was in Australia for almost 2 years), but when we do…as if we saw each other yesterday J Friends like this are truly golden. Thanks for everything Tins! Once again: Blootootanay ‘ta liwat!
